Welcome to SprachGeschichten

Learn German through connected stories that build vocabulary and grammar in context.Created by Klara – certified German teacher with professional teaching qualifications.

What is SprachGeschichten?

SprachGeschichten means “language stories” in German. You learn German by following connected stories and working with the language used in each chapter. Each story introduces vocabulary and grammar naturally through the story and clearly highlights the key language for learning. The focus is on understanding German in context through stories, not learning isolated rules.

How it works

Each story is part of a connected story series that forms a structured A1 German course. The chapters follow one storyline and gradually introduce new vocabulary and grammar. Each story is part of a structured self-study approach and is supported by a learning package. The package includes:▶️ Youtube Video
Story videos are available on YouTube.
📘 Workbook & Grammar Video
Each story includes a self-study package, including a workbook (PDF), audio (MP3) for listening and repetition, and a grammar video that explains the grammar focus points used in the story.
Some chapters also include bonus materials for additional practice.
These materials help you:
– understand the story step by step
– build vocabulary naturally
– understand important German grammar
– practise at your own pace
All elements are designed for independent self-study. Individual feedback or correction of exercises is not included. If you would like guidance or speaking practice, you can book personal lessons with Klara.
